Don't Be Late!
The first day of classes for all CCSD schools is Monday, August 12, 2019. The move to an earlier start date means the school year will end earlier. The last day of class is Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch are served every day at Thiriot. Breakfast costs $1.25 and lunch is $2.00. Free and reduced price meals are available to qualifying students. You and your child(ren) do not have to be a U.S. citizen to qualify for free or reduced price meals. An application for meal benefits must be completed each school year, and only one application is needed per household. Applications can be completed online at  

Safekey is a before and after school recreational-based program operated by Clark County Parks & Recreation at Thiriot Elementary for students in grades K-5. The Safekey program offers a healthy environment where participants engage in indoor and outdoor individual and small group games, arts & crafts, and an afternoon snack. For information about registration and making online payments, check out Clark County Parks & Recreation Safekey.

Infinite Campus Portal
School Supply List

The Clark County School District requires all parents to register their children for the 2019-2020 school year using an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. No student is automatically registered for the upcoming school year. 

If you do not have your username/password or your parent password needs to be reset, come by the school office (9:30 am to 2:30 pm). You need to bring an ID card to get your login information.


​After completing online registration, bring the following items to the school office to finish the registration process:

  • Online registration number

  • Proof of residency. This can be a current utility bill (gas, power, or water bill) or a lease agreement. Telephone and cable bills will not be accepted.

  • Parent/legal guardian ID

  • If you live with someone and do not have a utility bill in your name, a Residential Affidavit must be filled out and notarized.

  • Birth certificates and immunization records are required for all new students incoming to CCSD.

Family Engagement Center
The FACES Family Engagement Center at nearby Diskin Elementary School is open Monday through Friday (7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.). ALL parents and families are invited to take part in all of the offerings at the center.  FACES offers English as a Second Language classes, Early Childhood focused workshops, computer lab access and support, a lending library, as well as access to over 140 University of Family Learning (UFL) workshops. All services are FREE and are provided bilingually.
