Dear Thiriot Elementary School Students, Families and Staff,

 

It has been an honor to be a part of the Joseph E. Thiriot Elementary School community for so many years.  It is with a heavy heart that I need to let you know that my time here as the principal of Thiriot Elementary has ended and I have been appointed as the principal of Dr. Claude Perkins Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. 

 

This transition is bittersweet for me as I have made so many friends and relationships with families, staff, and community members here. I have confidence that you will continue to work together, where we develop strong leaders and lifelong learners who make positive contributions to society through respect and responsibility.  

 

Mr. Patrick White will continue on here at Thiriot as your assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year.  A search for the new principal is presently in place and your School Organizational Team will work to assist your School Associate Superintendent in finding a replacement. 

 

There is a special place in my heart for all of you and I look forward to hearing great things about you.  Goooo… Dreamcatchers!
